The Story Behind

The concept originated from a desire to subvert the traditional, overly sentimental advent calendar format. Designers focused on the cultural phenomenon of the “grumpy green character” archetype, which has dominated holiday media for decades. By isolating the iconic dumpling shape and applying a variety of seasonal costumes—from reindeer antlers to classic Santa hats—the team created a visual narrative that tracks the descent into holiday madness. These figures were modeled after the specific, expressive facial features that fans recognize instantly, ensuring that every single one of the twenty-four days provides a distinct personality to add to your display shelf.

Holding one of these figures provides an immediate tactile feedback loop. The material choice was intentional; TPR offers a satisfying resistance that makes these perfect for fidgeting during long holiday conference calls or while waiting for the oven timer. The green hue is calibrated to stand out against traditional red and gold decor, acting as a visual anchor for your fandom collection. Each expression is permanently fixed, meaning the character you pull on day one will remain just as disgruntled or mischievous as it was the moment you opened the perforated cardboard door.

Care and Maintenance Guide

To keep your green companions in peak condition, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, which can cause the pigment to fade or the material to become tacky over time. If your figures collect dust or lint, simply rinse them under cool water with a mild, clear dish soap. Pat them dry with a lint-free cloth rather than air-drying to prevent water spots. Do not use harsh chemical cleaners or alcohol-based wipes, as these will degrade the surface finish and cause the printed expressions to wear away prematurely.

Each figure carries a specific weight that feels substantial in the palm, preventing them from feeling like cheap hollow plastic. The density of the TPR allows for repeated squeezing without permanent deformation, ensuring they return to their original shape after every use. These are designed for display and light handling; keep them away from sharp objects or heat sources like radiators to maintain their structural integrity throughout the winter season and beyond.
