The Design Heritage
The board layout honors the monumental career of Stevie Nicks, drawing inspiration from her solo debut album, Bella Donna, released on July 27, 1981, which spent 180 weeks on the Billboard 200. The property spaces reflect her iconic discography and touring history, including references to her time at the Record Plant in Los Angeles, where she recorded significant portions of her early solo work. Each token represents a specific facet of her lore, from the platform boots that defined her 1970s aesthetic to the tambourine she famously wielded during the Rumours sessions.
For the true Rhiannon devotee, this game is a deep dive into the mystical world of the White Witch. Whether you are trading tour stops or collecting rent on your private shawls, the gameplay mechanics mirror the high-stakes atmosphere of a sold-out arena tour. It is a tribute to the woman who turned rock and roll into a gothic fairy tale, providing a tabletop experience that feels as timeless as Landslide.
Care and Maintenance Instructions
To maintain the integrity of the game components, store in a climate-controlled environment away from direct sunlight to prevent UV-induced fading of the board graphics. Clean the zinc-alloy tokens with a dry microfiber cloth; avoid chemical cleaners which may strip the antique finish. If the board surface accumulates dust, use a soft, lint-free brush. Keep the linen-finish cards in their designated tray slots to prevent bending or humidity damage, ensuring the game remains in collector-grade condition for years.
How should I clean the custom metal tokens if they lose their luster?
Use a dry, soft microfiber cloth to gently buff the tokens. Avoid liquid metal polishes, as these can damage the protective clear-coat finish applied during manufacturing.
Are the game cards moisture-resistant?
The cards feature a high-quality linen finish that provides basic protection against humidity. However, they are not waterproof; keep liquids away from the play area to prevent warping of the cardstock.
What is the best way to prevent the board from warping over time?
Store the game box horizontally in a cool, dry place. Avoid stacking heavy items on top of the box, as this can place uneven pressure on the folding seams of the board.
Can I use standard Monopoly dice if these are lost?
Yes, the game uses standard 16mm six-sided dice. While the included dice are custom-themed, any standard set will maintain the mechanical balance of the game.
