NFL Power Rankings Week 10: Lions Roar to the Top, Commanders Tumble After Steelers Loss

The Washington Commanders falter following a close loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers, while the Detroit Lions take the top spot in the most recent NFL Power Rankings.

The NFL season’s tenth week upended the power dynamics throughout the league with yet another dose of exciting action and surprising outcomes.  The Detroit Lions have risen to the top of the most recent power rankings because to their potent attack and a revitalized defense.

The Lions’ convincing win over the Chicago Bears cemented their place as serious NFC contenders.  In his second season in Detroit, quarterback Jared Goff is still a standout player, leading one of the league’s top offenses.

In the meantime, after a close defeat to the Pittsburgh Steelers, the Washington Commanders saw a major decline in the rankings.  The Commanders put in a strong effort, but their failure to finish the game prompted questions about their consistency and chances of making the playoffs.

Despite a shocking loss to the Las Vegas Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs are still a top contender elsewhere in the rankings.  Although the Chiefs’ offensive potency is still indisputable, their defensive weaknesses are now a reason for concern.

The bottom of the rankings features the usual suspects, with the Jacksonville Jaguars remaining in last place. Despite showing flashes of potential, the Jaguars continue to struggle with inconsistency and a lack of overall talent.
